Welcome to Art at Roosevelt High School!
I LOVE being a part of the North East ISD family.  This is my 17th  year teaching Visual Art at Roosevelt High School.  Not only do I have the honor of working with amazing young artists, but I am also the Lead Art Teacher for our awesome TR Art department and the National Art Honor Society/TR Art Club sponsor.

I grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas--surrounded by a family of artists and musicians. There, I received my Associate of Arts at Del Mar College before attending Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.  I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  I majored in Painting, but I also enjoy Drawing, Printmaking, Ceramics, and Mixed-media techniques. I love plants, birds, and music of all genres.  Every day is a chance to explore something new and discover our gifts!  I am so grateful to have a chance to watch my art students grow--while learning from them, too!  I am excited to meet you all this year!
