Welcome to 8th Grade U.S. History! 

This will be my sixth year at Tejeda. My teaching experience includes High School Social Studies, Elementary, and Middle School. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Mobile, Alabama, I became fascinated at an early age with American history. As a resident of San Antonio, I appreciate the rich history our city has to offer. It's my goal to encourage curiosity and excitement about history in my students. 

When not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and doing DIY projects around the house.
