Churchill won the Gold for best high school in the San Antonio Express-News’  Readers’ Choice Award was “well deserved,” its principal said.

“I am absolutely ecstatic, especially for the kids, the parents, the community of Churchill High School,” Principal Todd Bloomer says “Teachers and students worked very hard.” 

On Blanco Road north of Loop 410, it has an enrollment of almost 3,000 students and is one of NEISD’s eight high schools. It opened in 1966 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016. 

Churchill encourages all students to join at least one club or organization and experience what high school is all about!!!
