My name is Alejandro Rosas, and I am on my 12th year teaching with NEISD. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX graduating from W.B. Ray in 1997. I then went to College Station, TX attending Texas A&M graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors in Applied Mathematics. Immediately following graduation, I attended The Art Institute of Houston where I achieved an Associates in Graphic Design.
I was a professional graphic designer for 8 years before I decided to teach in 2013. Before becoming an Art teacher in 2019, I taught Geometry for seven years. I am an artist at heart, but I have an affinity with mathematics and how it applies to everyone and everything. Math and Art are both very visual subjects, and I try and incorporate as much creativity as I can in my classes.
This year I will only be teaching Geometry. I look forward to the 2023-24 school year and the success that your scholar will achieve.
