HOW TO USE A SCREEN READER (TEXT TO SPEECH ACCESSIBILITY) WITH GOOGLE:
Students can use a screen reader on their computers and mobile devices to guide them through Google Classroom. My Biology class code is jyhjk3c. Google Meet is available directly through the home Stream, and students can page me anytime at https://meet.google.com/lookup/cib6mopoqs. Both private (student and teacher) and public (student and all Biology Classroom users) Instant Messaging can be sent through the website. Teachers are alerted by email when a student posts either a private or public Instant Message through Google Classroom.
You can access my Google Classroom using with your NEISD student login/password and a screen reader. Refer to your browser instructions on how to set it up. For example, you can use ChromeVox with your Chromebook. On Macs, you can use the built-in Apple screen reader VoiceOver.
Android
The Classroom mobile app works with TalkBack, a pre-installed screen reader which uses spoken feedback for interaction. For details, see Turn on TalkBack.
iOS®
The Google Classroom mobile app works with VoiceOver on iOS®. For details, open the Accessibility Settings for your device.
After you sign in and set up your screen reader, you can get details on all features in the Classroom Help Center. Parent and student-friendly tutorials are also available in Google Help.

Biology Tutoring Opportunities
Mornings daily from 7:45am - 8:30am. Free coffee with flavored creamers, and hot chocolate, are offered to all students who attend tutoring. Please bring your breakfast to tutoring, so you may eat while receiving academic assistance.
