Mrs. Ashley Carswell

I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but I was raised mainly in San Antonio. I graduated from Antonian High School.

To continue my education, I went to Texas A&M University. Once here, I was afforded the opportunity to study abroad to live in the rainforests of Dominica. Here I completed several research projects on wildlife that eventually became published in several scientific journals. 
After four years, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Veterinary Medicine and a Minor in the Classical Studies. 

Later, I earned a Masters in Education in Biology and Secondary Education from Texas State University. I worked to gain my teaching certification during that time so that I could combine my love of science and cheerleading to work in education. With my M.Ed, I graduated with scholastic honors, and I received the Graduate Award in Biology.

This is my twelveth year at Churchill, and this year I am teaching Anatomy and Environmental Systems. I have enjoyed the opportunity of working with all of my students.
