Mrs. McKenzie Kah

This is my second year teaching at Churchill High School and I have the honor of teaching Art I, Painting II, III, IV, and AP Art History. I began my teaching career at Brandeis High School in NISD where I taught all levels of Art. 

Beyond teaching, I have experience creating commissioned artwork and developing a small art business. I am passionate about reusing and recycling found materials to create artwork that is innovative, inexpensive, resourceful, and sustainable, and I hope to instill this appreciation of reclaimed art to my students as well.

I like to spend my free time with my husband and two young children. We like to recharge as a family going on outdoor adventures!

I hope to encourage my students to find inspiration in the little things, to make art with what they have, and to never stop creating.
