Dr. Colleen D. Lindsey

I have been teaching more than twenty-five years; including elementary, gifted, English, reading and a science class once. Most of that has been in NEISD, though I spent nearly a decade in New Orleans (Hurricane Katrina brought us back home to SA).  I have spent about twenty years teaching middle school students and gifted students. North East ISD is my alma mater (El Dorado, Wood & Madison) and I am pleased and honored to be a Bradley Bear; I have been here for almost 15 years.

My family supports me and is so important to me as a teacher. I have been married for more than 20 years and we have three amazing kids. I also manage a dog who thinks she is a princess and a cat who thinks he is a dog.  I love reading, writing, walking, traveling, bluebonnets, games (dominoes, card and board games, and puzzles), movies & TV shows, and counted cross stitching.

I strive to create a unique academic experience for each student, providing excellent instruction with diverse methods and assessments. My classroom is an evolving place of learning. My students and I grow and learn together.
