Degrees and Certifications:
B.A. Vocal Music Education, St. Olaf College
This is my 4th year as the proud director of the Bradley Choirs and my 31st year in vocal music education! I have worked as a middle school choir director and/or private voice teacher over that time, the majority of my years here in NEISD. I am a 1991 graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where I had amazing choral experiences. Originally from Wisconsin, I am a die hard Green Bay Packer fan and a proud stockholder of the team!
My husband, David Stephenson, is Coordinator of Fine Arts and Director of Bands in Alamo Heights ISD. Our sons, James and Sam, both attended Bradley and are now a senior and a freshman at MacArthur High School. We are dog lovers, Texas Tech fans and happiest when we are hanging out together as a family. In my spare time I enjoy reading, binge watching a great series and running with my Weimaraner.
Bradley's theme this year is Better Together which was evident in our choir room last school year as we navigated through truly unchartered territory. Our choir students persevered and adapted and I couldn't be prouder of all they accomplished. It is truly a joy and privilage working with middle school singers and I can't imagine doing it at any other school in San Antonio!
