Degrees and Certifications:
B.A. Vocal Music Education, St. Olaf College
This is my second year as the proud director of the Bradley Choirs! My career prior to coming to Bradley included 14 years as a private voice teacher for the Bush and Lopez choir programs, head choir director at Wood Middle School in NEISD from 1995-1999 and head choir director at Travis Middle School in McAllen from 1991-1995. I am a 1991 graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where I had amazing choral experiences. Originally from Wisconsin, I am a die hard Green Bay Packer fan and a proud stockholder of the team!
My husband, David Stephenson, is Coordinator of Fine Arts and Director of Bands in Alamo Heights ISD. We have 2 sons. James, who is a sophomore at Mac Arthur and Sam, who is a 7th grader here at Bradley and in the choir! We are dog lovers, Texas Tech fans and happiest when we are hanging out together as a family. In my spare time I enjoy reading, binge watching a great series and running with my Weimaraner.
I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with the Bradley Choirs! GO BEARS!
