Mrs. Sara McGuire

This year is my sixth year at Bradley Middle School!  Previously, I spent 13 years teaching in a self-contained 4th and 5th grade classroom, eleven of those years were at Hidden Forest!  Prior to that, I taught 4th/5th grade for two years at Kathryn Hughes Elementary in Santa Clara, CA.  In July 2005, I moved from San Jose, California to live here in the beautiful city of San Antonio. I graduated from San Jose State University in 2001, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Music (I play the flute); and yes, I was in the marching band for six years, and I loved it. In July 2003, I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!), where I received my master’s degree in Education, and my California Teaching Credential.  I now hold a Teaching Certificate for the great state of Texas.  I love animals, horseback riding, live music, hot-rod cars, sushi, Starbucks, and teaching. My family and friends live all over the United States (California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and New Jersey), and I love to visit them all.  My husband and I have a daughter and a son, Meredith and Henry.  We also have three dogs, Jasper, Lizzie and Patches.
