Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University

Mrs. Chesnut

Hello! My name is Leah Chesnut.
This is my 4th year at Bradley, but this is not my first time around the district. I am a proud NEISD graduate - MacArthur High School!

This is my 12th year teaching, and I am proud to be back in San Antonio to raise my family. I graduated from Texas Tech University (Wreck 'Em, Tech!), taught in the Lubbock area for a year, and moved from there to DFW where I taught for the next 7 years.

I have taught math exclusively for 11 years, and it is a subject I love and am excited to share with my students. I also teach Crafting 101, a class where students explore different crafty projects! Some projects turn out wonderfully, and some projects are not to be repeated again. :) My hope is that through our crafting class, students learn or are inspired by our classes and find ways to express themselves creatively.

In my free-time, I am a mom and crafty person. My kids go to school in the district, and we are involved in community sports which take up a lot of our time! When my kids don't have us running around town for their activities, I enjoy baking and crafting to flex my creative muscles.

I am passionate about providing a great education to students in NEISD. If you ever need anything from me, please reach out! My email is my best contact - LCHESN@neisd.net

My tutoring times are Monday (am & pm) and Friday (am & pm).

6th grade math is double blocked, so my schedule is as follows:
1st: Crafting 101
2nd-3rd: on-level math
4th-5th: honors math
6th: conference/planning
7th-8th: on-level math
