Stefanie Gorner

I am so excited to be your history teacher this year.  This will be my 21st year teaching 8th grade history...my tenth year at Bradley.  I have also had the joy of working at Reagan HS, Tejeda MS, and Garner MS.  I also spent three years in Allen ISD which is a suburb district in the Dallas area.  I was born in San Antonio...but spent the young years of my life being raised in Bryan/College Station.  I came back to San Antonio and became a proud product of North East schools myself having attended both Bradley, and Churchill (class of '93).  I then went on to get my BA in political science from Incarnate Word, and did my post-baccalaureate work in education with a concentration in history from Southwest Texas State (now Texas State).  I have two beautiful daughters, Bailey Elizabeth (22), and Barrett Cordelia (14), and a four-legged baby...a golden retriever named Fenway.  My life centers around my children and extended family.  In my pastime I love to travel, take pictures, read, do puzzles, watch historical based films, and SHOP!!!  I love collecting coffee mugs, and children's books. You will hear me talk about the things I have an absolute obsession with like BOSTON, BASEBALL, the RED SOX, and HAMILTON...so get ready!!!
