Welcome to Mr. Greenacre's webpage!
I am entering my 14th year of teaching and first year at Bradley Middle School! For the 2023-24 school year, I will be teaching 6th Grade Math and sponsoring NJHS (National Junior Honor Society).
I am originally from central Illinois but have also lived in Maine and Wisconsin. I am a proud two-time graduate of Illinois State University. Go Redbirds! My wife, Veronica, is a surgery coordinator for UT-Health and is currently attending LSU. Go Tigers! Our son, Jacob, is a freshman at Churchill High School and iCSI. Go Chargers!
Outside of school, I enjoy long road trips, reading a good book or comic, catching a movie, rocking out at concerts, listening to some vinyl records and spending time with family and friends. I also own way too many Funko Pops and will never stop rooting on the St. Louis Cardinals! Plus, I love telling bad/good dad jokes!
I look forward to having a great year at Bradley! GO BEARS!!
*Google Classroom links will be given to students in August. I will not be posting the codes on this webpage. Google Classroom access and participation is mandatory and necessary for the success of all students.*
**If you are going to join my REMIND to receive daily text message updates, please make sure you choose the correct class. Since I am teaching both 6th Grade Regular and Honors, I have two separate REMIND classes assigned to each. Be sure to choose the correct one when signing up. If you are unsure, you can email me with your child's name and I can let you know which class your student belongs in.**
***Be sure to download and read the Syllabus for your child's class. The syllabus gives an overview of what TEKS will be covered throughout the school year and the necessary requirements in order to move on to the next grade level.***
