This is my eighteenth year teaching music to children as well as my eighteenth year as a T-Wolf! I am from the small town of La Vernia, about forty-five minutes southeast of Tejeda.  My high school band director was the one that inspired me to become a band director myself, so that I could also instill a love of making music in my students.  The ability to make music is a gift that I hope my students realize they can carry with them for a lifetime.  

I love the middle school age (with all of its challenges!) because, for many kids, band is their first experience with music and playing in some sort of ensemble, which can create some magical musical moments!

When not teaching music I love to spend time with my husband and daughter.  We are always planning our next trip to Disney!
