I am a Level and Honors ELA teacher at Tejeda Middle School. This will be my 12th year teaching and coaching, and I value being a part of your child's educational and athletic development this new school year.

I coach 8th grade girls "A" team volleyball, 8th grade girls "A" team basketball, and 8th grade girl's soccer.

I am a product of NEISD, attending Encino Park ES, Bush/ Tejeda MS, and graduating from Reagan HS. I understand and cherish this community as it was my own for many years. 

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from UTSA and have teaching certificates for Pre-K- 8th grade levels. 

I'm excited to further educate your child on many genres of study, including non-fiction, fiction, sci-fi, mystery, etc. Throughout the year your child will practice utilizing a writing cycle, reading and analyzing novels and short stories, and much more. Along with educating children and challenging hard-working athletes, I will help shape your child into a responsible citizen within the community. My goal is that they will achieve success and rise to their fullest potential.
