Hello Bears! This is my 23rd year in education and I am happy to be back. I taught 6th and 8th grade Dual Language Social Studies for 3 years here at Bradley. This is my second year as the Career and Technology Education/ BBTV teacher and my first year as the PALS facilitator.

I am originally from Houston, TX, and I have been in San Antonio since 2008.  I am a first-generation American and the first in my family to attend college.  I consider education the greatest gift and feel privileged to be an educator.  In 2000, I graduated from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and married my husband in Cozumel, Mexico.  Three years later, we had our only and wonderful daughter, "Isa." She is a sophomore in college this year. 

I started off as a Kindergarten teacher in Houston for 3 years. Then I moved up with students and taught 2nd grade for 2 more years at the same school.  I decided I wanted to get my masters in Instructional Technology, and in 2006 I was hired as an Instructional Technologist in an elementary school for HISD.  During this time, my husband found his dream job at USAA in San Antonio.  I started teaching ESL at Krueger Middle School in NEISD and after a few years, I decided to work part-time as an ESL Instructional Coach and then as a full-time IC for the ELL Dual Language program.  I worked with so many amazing people during my 6 years at NEISD central office and learned so much, but I really missed the classroom. So, in fall of 2019, I got the opportunity to come to a magical place I had heard so much about called Bradley Middle School.  I am proud to be part of the Bradley Nation and the rich tradition of excellence at Omar Bradley Middle School.
