Mrs. Rosaura Englehart

Hello Bears! This is my 22nd year in education and I am happy to be back. I taught 6th and 8th grade Dual Language Social Studies for the past 3 years here at Bradley. This is my first year as a technology teacher at this level and I am excited.  I am originally from Houston, TX, also known as "H-Town". I have been in San Antonio since 2008 and I love it!  I am a first-generation American and the first in my family to attend college.  I consider education the greatest gift and feel privileged to be an educator. I am the oldest of four and I am very close to my family- immediate and extended. In 2000, I graduated from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and married my husband, Keith, in Cozumel.  Three years later, we had our only and wonderful daughter, "Isa." This year she is a UofH Coog herself and is studying Graphic Design.

I love to learn and try new things and it shows on my resume.  I started off as a Kindergarten teacher in Houston, and did that for 3 years. Then I moved up with students and taught 2nd grade for 2 more years at the same school.  I decided I wanted to get my masters in Instructional Technology and got the teacher's certificate to begin my search for a related position.  In 2006, I was hired as an Instructional Technologist in an elementary school for HISD and I thought I would never leave. During this time, my husband found his dream job at USAA in San Antonio, and we had to move.  I put my second degree on hold and I was hired at the middle school my mother-in-law had worked at for 26 years.  I got two new certifications and started teaching ESL at Krueger Middle School.  After a few years, I decided to work part-time as an ESL Instructional Coach and then returned to work as a full-time IC for the ELL Dual Language program.  I worked with so many amazing people during my 6 years at central office and learned so much, but I really missed working with kids in a school with a community. So, in fall of 2019, I had the opportunity to come to a magical place I heard so much about called Bradley Middle School.  I love being a Bradley Bear and being part of the rich tradition of excellence Omar Bradley Middle School is known for. Go Bears!
