I am a native Texan. I was born in San Antonio on Thanksgiving and attended school in the NEISD. I graduated from Madison, where I was on dance team. I went on to attend college at Schreiner in Kerrville. While I was there I was on the cheerleading squad and was head cheerleader for a year. I was also on the Dean's list. I did my student teaching in Hunt, where I had a great fifth grade class. I graduated with a BA, then took the ExCET exams in order to receive my certification to teach in the state of Texas. My first teaching position was in Kyle, where I taught fifth grade. After leaving Kyle, I taught at Bradley Middle School in NEISD for 11 years. I have taught Social Studies, Texas History, U.S. History and Reading over the past 20 years. This is my 11th year at Tejeda.
