Hello!

It has been my privilege to have served as an educator for the past 21 years. During that time I have taught both reading and English at the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade levels. I have taught 8th grade reading for the majority of that time, but I'm excited to teach 7th grade again. I know my twenty-second year of teaching will be an inspirational one!

I have a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in reading and a Master of Science Degree in Education with an emphasis in technology. My certifications include: Elementary Self-Contained (Grades 1-8), Elementary Reading (Grades 1-8), English Language Arts and Reading (Grades 4-8), English as a Second Language Supplemental (Grades 1-8), and Social Studies (Grades 4-8).

I look forward to working with you and your child this school year as we prepare for what the future will bring.  We continue to face challenges this year as we adapt our teaching and learning experiences in the midst of an ongoing pandemic, but I know together we will find success.
