Aleida Fuentes-Boles  (Fuentes for short)

Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, located in the southernmost tip of Texas, I moved to San Antonio to attend Our Lady of the Lake University years ago. I spent 16+ years working in donor relations, communications, and fundraising within the nonprofit sector and retired last spring when I started substituting at LEE High School. My Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Minor in English will help me provide a good alignment with the state and district standards for each one of my students. My experience in nonprofits will also help me bring real-world experience to the classroom. When I am not in the classroom, I will be attending a baseball game with my son and husband or at home spending time with them. As a family, we enjoy hiking and spending time in nature. I have one dog- his name is Marco.

I teach Practical Writing to seniors and juniors and ENG II to sophomores.
