As a native of San Antonio, I am dedicated to improving my school and my community. I graduated from John Marshall High School, completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and earned my master's degree from Concordia University. I have been fortunate enough to be involved in education for over 20 years.  I began teaching Reading at Connally Middle School (NISD) in 1998 before I came to North East ISD.  In 2005 I joined the staff at Krueger MS to be a Reading teacher, the Academic Dean, and then an Assistant Principal. Now, I am proud to be serving the LEE community as Assistant Principal of Curriculum.

I am very excited to be joining the LEE school and community!  I started my teaching career in Edcouch Elsa ISD in 2010. I have served as an elementary science teacher, elementary newcomer ESL teacher, middle school ELA teacher, middle school ESL teacher, and an ESL program coordinator. I have had the opportunity to serve in central office for 4 years as an Elementary Instructional Support Teacher and an Elementary Bilingual ESL Specialist.

As I begin my administrative journey in high school, I am excited to support our school community! My educational background and advocacy experience has prepared me to create a joyous learning environment for all students. I earned my undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2022, I earned my second master’s degree in Educational Leadership. One of my proudest educational achievements was in 2017 when I became a National Board Certified Teacher in English as a New Language.

My husband and I are proud North East ISD parents to 3 children and we are a soccer family!

Thank you for welcoming me into the LEE community!
