Hello and Welcome to my Teacher Page!

I am an NEISD alum and excited to be part of the English and Special Education departments at L.E.E.! 

I graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism with a Minor in English. Reading is my passion, and I'm excited to share my love for books and reading with my students. As a Special Education co-teacher and case manager, I take a keen interest in all of my students and ensure they are receiving the support they may need. 

Outside the classroom, I am a busy mom keeping up with my son, a high school freshman involved in water polo, swim team and the marching band at RRHS. I also enjoy yoga, being in nature, and traveling. One of my favorite teaching + travel adventures was a year spent teaching ESL in Costa Rica. 

I look forward to cultivating positive relationships with all of my students, inspiring their interest in reading and the world around them and helping them to be successful in my class and beyond!
