The Big Give Campaign  Please consider giving to our school and to all of the great teachers at Churchill!! :D

Hello Families!

I am the Churchill Cluster Transition Teacher.  I am a graduate of UTSA and I received my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Special Education.  This will be my seventh year at Churchill and I am proud to say that I am a Charger.  I was the ALE Social Studies Teacher for 4 years and I also worked with the Highly Structured Environment Classroom.  I recently also worked summer school for a HSC High School classroom and it was great to be back in a classroom and doing what I love: working with these students I adore!

I transitioned to the new position of Transition Teacher in September 2019 and I am really enjoying being able to meet so many more students and families within NEISD.  My transition motto is the same motto as our Winston Churchill High School: "Never, never, never give up!"  We will all strive for a wonderful and successful school year during this challenging time.

I am also the mother of 3 wonderfully rambuctious boys!  This 2021-2022 school year my eldest will be a sophomore Charger and I am so excited for him to be here on this wonderful campus.  He will hopefully participate in Basketball this school year! Go Charger! :D My other two sons will be entering 2nd grade and 5th grade and they are NOT excited to say the least!  When we were quarantined at home it was a challenge for all of us and we were all trying to adjust to the new "norms."  I can say that my family and I have not had it easy but we are surviving the best we can.  So with that, know that I understand that you all have your own set of challenges, that I can relate, and am here for any resources or help that I can give.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, need help, or just want to talk to a friend. I am always available to help in any way that I can.  My door is always open, even if via Zoom!

My Office number is 210-356-0121 or you can call the Special Education office 210-356-0071 to leave a message.  Thank you!
