Dr. Walter R. Evans, Jr.
I am excited about starting another year of AP U.S. History and U.S. History! I graduated from Trinity University in 1996 with a Bachelor Degree in History (minor in Political Science). In 1997 I obtained a Master Degree in Teaching, also from Trinity. I taught in the San Antonio Independent School District for the next two years. Then I went to the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. In 2001 I graduated with a law degree, and worked as an attorney for the next six years in San Antonio and Houston. My legal work was primarily in property taxation, civil litigation, tort litigation, bankruptcy and intellectual property. I then returned to teaching and have been here at Robert E. Lee High School ever since. My goal is to instill a love of history in my students, and also prepare them for the rigors of college level work. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.
