¡HOLA Y BIENVENIDOS A TU MUNDO EN ESPAÑOL!

 My name is America Patrick. I was born and raised in México.   I’ve been married for 34 years with my wonderful husband, Raymond Patrick. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Jennifer Patrick, 33 years old, and Alejandra Patrick, 32 years old. We also have 2 gorgeous granddaughters, Isabella, 9 years old and Sophia, 6 months old.  We are a proud military family, happy to have served this country for over 30 years. 

I've been in the Wood family since 2014, and I have loved and enjoyed every year that I have spent in the classroom teaching students the beauty of the Spanish language.  I enjoy traveling, dancing, exercising, going to the beach, gardening, spending time with friends, family and drinking coffee.  I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a Bachelor's in Social Work.  Teaching and working with children has always been my passion, so I decided to switch professions and began teaching, obtaining my K-12 Foreign Language license from the states of North Carolina and Texas.

I am looking forward to a new, wonderful and successful school year full of learning, fun and excitement.
