Both my students have been impacted and grown so much because of the greatest robotics team and Ms. Brown’s leadership and encouragement. She is definitely an outstanding teacher and mentor to every student in the program. She has taken my 8th grader from a student that didn’t seem to want to be involved to a confident student that loves to help and be part of the team!

Orchestra, lead by Mrs. Esparza has guided and taught confidence to both our students, starting with a 5th grader that knew nothing about classical music looking at middle school as a scary place and transforming him into a student that proudly plays with the honors orchestra. Neither of our students were really built or interested in sports but Orchestra gave them a secure home where they felt secure and learned they could succeed. They love Ms. Esparza!

My daughter attended Wood from the end her 6th grade shortly after Covid through 8th grade after we transferred from another District. The difference I saw in the remote learning environment was astonishing. My daughter attended every class in real time as if she were in school face to face. When she finally decided she was ready to attend in-person, the school and staff were both accommodating and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter got in the swing of things.

The robotics and computer science classes taught by Ms. Brown are incredible. She is truly passionate about what she does, and she goes above and beyond to help her students be successful. The Ag class she attended with Ms. Heath is amazing. My daughter finally found something she was truly passionate about and the guidance she received from Ms. Heath helped her navigate the process of getting accepted to the Agriscience Magnet Program at Madison.

  • Set Up Your Student's Lunch Account

    With email and push notifications, parents can stay on top of their student’s account balance. Low balance reminders make sure parents never miss a payment and students always have adequate funds in their account.
