I am very excited about my 25th year of teaching and my 12th year here at Wood Middle School. I am also starting my 7th year here as the Science Instructional Coach.  Wood is such an amazing campus to be a part of! The staff, students and faculty work together for the common goal of student success. 

I graduated from St. Mary's University here in San Antonio with a BS in Kinesiology. Right after graduation, I began my teaching adventure.  Over my middle school teaching years, I have coached, taught PE, Science, and served as an Instructional Coach.  I have been nominated by my fellow peers as a Golden spur teacher, Trinity Teacher of the year and Campus teacher of the year.
