Welcome 6th grade Wood Wranglers!
My name is Susan Johnson, lovingly referred to as Mama "J", by my present and former students. This is my 32nd year of teaching at Wood and my 38th year of teaching!!! (I taught elementary school for 5 years prior to Wood in Austin.)
This year I am teaching 6th grade Reading Acceleration.
I earned my Bachelors of Science Degree in Communications (Radio-TV-Film) from the University of Texas at Austin and my Teaching Certificate (with 30 hours of Reading concentration) from there as well.
I am looking forward to a great year while teaching you. I love to read and write and will be sharing this joy with you.
