When checking your grades or parents are checking the parent portal, your grades are listed as the following:

 For Principles of Human Services

Category 1 = Quizzes & Tests 35%

Category 2 = Labs & Projects 35%

Classwork/Homework = Daily Grades = 30%

The 2nd nine weeks (T2) and the 4th nine weeks (T4) exams are cumulative, meaning those nine week exams cover the units learned in that semester.

Because this is a high school credit elective, high school courses have semester exams, so cumulative exams are given at the end of the 2nd and 4th nine weeks. 

Semester 1 = T1 (40%)  + T2 (40%) + Semester Exam (20%)

Semester 2 = T3  (40%) + T4 (40%) + Semester Exam (20%)

Final Grade = Semester 1 + Semester 2

For Principles of Education & Training

Category 2 = Journal and Portfolio  25%

Classwork/Homework = Daily Grades = 35%
