I am in my 17th year of teaching, and in my educational experience I have had the pleasure of teaching in the fields of Math, Science, History, and Reading. Math being my strength, and I am currently teaching 8th Grade Math. Where I will strive to the best of my ability to assist all students in 8th grade to not only be successful, but master their math goals and motivate them into challenging their weaknesses.
I also have a passion for sports and have coached volleyball, basketball, track, soccer and tennis for the entirety of my career in education. I have literally played all my life including a few years in college and now as an adult, recreational. I love working with kids and will help build and strengthen them with the foundation needed to reach their goals. GO PANTHERS!
My educational background consists of a Master's in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's in Technical Management. I will be teaching 8th grade Math and will be coaching 8th Grade B-Team Volleyball and Basketball, head coach for Soccer, as well as Coaching UIL: Maps, Graphs, & Charts and Dictionary Skills. I am also the Cyber Patriot Coach at Lopez Middle School.

Cyber Patriot: the National Youth Cyber Education Program
CyberPatriot the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future.

The National Youth Cyber Defense Competition
- Online - 2 preliminary rounds, State round, Semifinal round (if qualified)
- Tournament-structured event
- Teams of 2-6 students
- Scored how well they identify and secure known vulnerabilities on a virtual network including Windows and Linux environments.
- Through a partnership with Cisco, they are also tested on a networking curriculum and are required to build secure, virtual networks.
