Mrs. Christi A. Eanes

Mrs. Eanes is a graduate of Madison High School (NEISD 1988) and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) in 1992. She holds teaching certificates in Secondary Theatre Arts and Speech Communication.
After living in New York City for a year, Mrs. Eanes began teaching part time at both Lee & Churchill High Schools in 1993 and then became a full time theatre teacher at Churchill where she spent six years directing and assistant coaching the nationally recognized oral interpretation team. After a few years at home with her daughters she returned to teaching, joining the staff of Bush Middle School as Assistant Director of Theatre. Mrs. Eanes opened Lopez and has built the award winning theatre program here over the past seventeen years. Her husband teaches Oral Interpretation and AP Art History at Reagan High School and they have three amazing children ages 25, 24 & 18. She is also active in the San Antonio theatre community serving six years on the board of Classic Theatre San Antonio and acting in productions. She most recently appeared as Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town in May 2021, as M'Lynn in the Reagan Stage faculty production of Steel Magnolias in August 2022 and as Chelsea in the Classic Theatre production of On Golden Pond at The Playhouse in October 2023.

She is excited to begin year twenty eight as a theatre educator in NEISD!

    A huge, heartfelt thank you to the parent volunteers (chaperones, snacks, dress rehearsals, tickets, pizza party, transporting scenery etc.) who made this entire journey possible!

    And an extra special thank you to the Drama Mamas who spent the entire contest day with us yesterday and did soooooo much for all of us!

    Thanks to everyone who came to see the shows at Lopez and at Eisenhower, we felt your love and support!

    I also want to thank and congratulate our Lopez Drama family for your generous donations to our fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, our donation goal was $500 and we raised $750! Thank you all for your support, we’re so proud to make this donation to LLS from Lopez Drama
