I am excited to teach 6th grade ELAR at Lopez Middle School this year.  I've been with the district for 19 years and am a product of NEISD also, graduating from LEE many years ago. I studied turfgrass management at Texas A&M and worked in the green industry for 12 years before becoming a teacher. It was a smart move because I love teaching kids to appreciate literature and learning to write for themselves.  I have coached tennis for several years and will be coaching at Lopez which I really look forward to.  In my free time I hang out with my family, read books or do yard work.
