- Number Sense (Mental math)
- Social Studies/History
- Maps, Graphs and Charts
- Science
- Spelling
- Dictionary Skills
- Chess Puzzles
*There are 3 Saturday meets during the school year at various NEISD middle schools, where ribbons and medals are earned. Each event is open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders, who test at their grade level, and has a coach that is responsible for the student’s training and practices.
