¡Bienvenidos a mis clases de 6to grado: Geografía Mundial y de  8vo grado: Historia de Estados Unidos!

I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and I still remain very close to my extended family living there.  I was raised in Nacogdoches Texas (the oldest town in Texas)  I graduated from UT Austin with a BS in Architectural Engineering. After working as an engineer in California and San Antonio for over 20 years,  I decided to change careers and become a teacher. Teaching was always a dream of mine and I’m excited to be starting my 6th year at Lopez Middle School.

When not working, I enjoy camping and finding great local restaurants with my husband and two sons.
