I attended Taft High school here in San Antonio graduating in 1992. After high school I attended College at Schreiner Collage in Kerrville Texas. I graduated in 1997 with B.A. in Philosophy. I spent some time working as a camp director for an outdoor education facility and a camp serving children with severe and profound disabilities. I worked in these positions from 1997 until 2002.  In 2002 I got married to my AMAZING wife Shana and decided to continue my education and pursue a career in teaching. I returned to school at UTSA getting a masters in education and a teaching certification. After teaching at Pleasanton High school for five years I came to STEM in 2012.
