After growing up in San Antonio, TX, I moved to Ohio to attended Kent State University and received my Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance in 2013, studying cello with Keith Robinson of the Miami String Quartet. In May 2019 I earned my MAT in Music, also from Kent State University, before making the move back to San Antonio in the summer of 2019 to begin my position here at Lopez, as Assistant Orchestra Director. I love being a part of the wonderful Lopez Middle School family! 

Outside of school I enjoy hiking, camping, attending live music performances, watching sci-fi movies and shows, and spending time with family. My husband Alex and I own two pets: a sassy, real-life chocolate bunny named Arthur, who goes bonkers for bananas, and Xena, our goofy black lab shepherd mix who always keeps us laughing.
