Howdy Wood Wranglers! My name is Andrea Arevalo and I am the Dance teacher here at Wood Middle School. This is my 23rd year in education and my 17th year as a Wrangler.  I am honored to be a part of the North East ISD Family.  I look forward to spending time with my students every day.  It truly does not feel like a job when I love what I do. It is my passion, and these students are the best part of each day here at Wood Middle School.

When I’m not at work life is pretty busy around our household, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My husband is a Science teacher in NEISD as well and we have three precious children, ages 12, 10, & 5 who keep us on full speed running between soccer, basketball, and baseball practices. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, relaxing at the beach, camping/fishing and hanging out with my family and friends.  Finally, I am a huge football fanatic, both College and NFL, so football season is my absolute favorite season. I am a Texas A&M Graduate so you betcha I will sport my Maroon and White every weekend, at least until basketball season…Go Spurs Go!
