The Legacy of Educational Excellence (LEE) High School PTA and students from LEE, Reagan High School and the International School of the Americas hosted an incredible Chinese New Year celebration recently.
The Chinese Clubs from the schools give students a chance to further their education in a language and culture they are passionate about. Students from all three campuses performed a traditional dragon dance in front of the crowds with confidence, joy and enthusiasm.
“My children and I really enjoyed the event and were fascinated by the talent of the department and the students,” said attendee Yvonne Sarabia.
North East ISD is the only public school district in San Antonio that offers Chinese to high school students.
