Doing Business with NEISD

  • North East ISD, as well as all other school districts in the State of Texas, is governed by state competitive bid law. Therefore, the majority of the purchasing process is done via competitive bids.

  • Search & Submit a Bid

    The first step in becoming an NEISD bid-awarded vendor is to search through our list of current bidding opportunities.  If you find one that fits your company’s goods or services, you can respond to the bid.  Call our Bid Coordinator at 210-407-0406 if you are having difficulty determining which bid may be right for your company.

    Next, download Bid specifications from the table below in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, and respond to the bid as specified. There may be additional documents that are not available on this website (e.g., construction drawings), which must be obtained directly from the Department of Procurement & eCommerce, 8961 Tesoro Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78217, (210) 407-0406.

    It is the responsibility of the bidders downloading bids from the North East ISD Bids Online website to check for posted addenda. North East ISD is not responsible for any bidder who does not retrieve addenda posted to the North East ISD Bids Online website.

    Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view files and may be downloaded free from the Adobe website. The Department of Procurement & eCommerce is not responsible for interruptions or technical difficulties in website access or operation.

  • North East ISD Bidder's List

    Our District manages our potential bid vendors electronically through North East ISD eBids, our electronic bidding software. If you do not find a bid that works for your company, please register your company through our Supplier Registration link below to be added to the North East ISD Bidder's List. Registered suppliers will receive automatic email notifications regarding bid opportunities associated with commodities you selected when you registered.

  • Bid Opportunities

    We have officially launched our electronic bidding system, North East ISD eBids, provided by Ionwave Technologies.  Listed below are our current bid opportunities.  Some opportunities will be completed electronically and others will be completed via paper.  Paper bids must be submitted in person or by mail in a sealed envelope to the address listed on the cover page of the bid.

    We appreciate your patience as we transition from paper to electronic bids.  Our goal is to have all of our bids done electronically.

  • Extended Response Bids

    Extended Response Bids allow NEISD to receive bid responses and add vendors to the awarded bid list during the active term of the bid.  These bids are opened every Friday at 9:00 AM CST.

    Awards will be made to multiple vendors on an incremental basis during the solicitation offering period. Vendors are encouraged to submit responses as soon as possible. As proposal responses are received on a periodic basis, they will be opened, evaluated, and either accepted or rejected by the district, based on the criteria outlined within the request for proposal. Awards will be made throughout the open period of this solicitation and will be made upon acceptance of a proposal response. Applicants will then be notified of the district’s decision.
