North East ISD, as well as all other school districts in the State of Texas, is governed by state competitive bid law. Therefore, the majority of the purchasing process is done via competitive bids.
STEP 1: Bid Mailing List Application
The first step in becoming a NEISD bid awarded vendor is to fill out a Bid Mailing List Application. Please note that this step does not make you a bid awarded vendor -- it will add your company infomation to NEISD's bid mailing list database. Once the Bid Mailing List Application is completed and returned, your company information will be added to a database so that when an opportunity to bid on the types of goods and/or services your company offers is available, you will be notified by mail of the opportunity and instructed how to get the bid documents.
STEP 2: Submit a Bid
Download Bid specifications from the table below in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, and respond to bid as specified. There may be additional documents which are not available on this website (e.g., construction drawings), which must be obtained directly from the Department of Procurement & eCommerce, 8961 Tesoro Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78217, (210) 407-0403 or 407-0406. It is the responsibility of the bidders downloading bids from the North East ISD Bids Online website to check for posted addenda. North East ISD is not responsible for any bidder who does not retrieve addenda posted to the North East ISD Bids Online website.
