Welcome back, everyone to a wonderful year that, hopefully , will remain in person. I graduated in 1996 from the University of Texas Pan American in Edinburg with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I began my teaching career in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas Where I taught at Donna, La Feria, and Santa Rosa before getting married and moving to Killeen. My husband and I lived in Germany, where he was stationed, for two years. I had many wonderful experiences exploring Europe! Upon our return, we came to San Antonio where I joined the NEISD family at Lee High School in 2012. I have spent my teaching career in various activities such as UIL coach, cheerleading coach, and serving several years on the Campus improvement committee in La Feria.  I am currently in my 9th year at NEISD and LEE. I have participated in ALE class training, IEP creation training, Applied Behavior Analysis training, and many other classes to help me create interesting and vibrant lessons to make our classroom the best it can be!  I am also participating in Master's degree classes at Lamar University.  My goal is to prepare our students not just for the academic experiences they face in school, but to prepare them for the world of the future outside of the classroom. In my classroom, your child will benefit from an experienced teacher who works hard to ensure they have the best possible educational experience in my classroom.
