Mrs. Debra Johnson

Debra Johnson has been an English teacher since 2010. She earned a BA in English and American Literature from Brandeis University in 1992, and an MM in Applied Voice from UT Austin in 2000. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Texas for graduate school, married a Texan, and never left. She started at LEE as a Voice teacher at NESA in 2002. Mrs. Johnson teaches English I and II Honors and GT for NESA students. Her favorite author is Jane Austen. In her spare time, Mrs. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, two cats, three dogs, two snakes, one leopard gecko, one tarantula named Taylor Swift, one pond full of fish, and a very messy house.
