Ms. Kasey Korth-Piles
My name is Kasey Korth-Piles and this is my first year as Technical Director for Allied Campus Theatre. For the past 10 years, I was Theatre Director at Harris Middle School, also in North East ISD. I feel extremely blessed to have this opportunity to mentor your child in the arts. I discovered I was passionate about theatre when I was a junior in high school and participated in any way that I could. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in both History and Dramatic Media (theatre), from Texas Lutheran University and my love for theatre grew in bounds! I decided to keep studying theatre, so I attended Texas State University and earned my Master of Arts degree in Theatre History and Criticism.
Technical Theatre students and crew really make the magic of the Theatre happen! Students who take theatre will have the opportunity to become part of the backstage or house crew. There is a place for everyone in the theatre! In my time as a theatre teacher, I've seen many students grow their confidence and sense of self, even after just one year immersed in the subject.
Together we can mentor, motivate, and inspire our kids to do their best in everything! Let's have a great year!
