Mr. James Stoldt

Hello!

I am James Stoldt, but many call me Coach Stoldt. I graduated from UTSA and completed my undergrad. While at UTSA, I was also part of the coaching staff for football at UTSA with Larry Coker and Frank Wilson before leaving in 2019 to chase this teaching dream (which was the better choice)! 

Science and teaching are my two favorite things, and I wish to pass that enthusiasm on to my students! There is so much to learn and discover in this content area, and I hope my students are the next Einstein! I have been teaching at Lopez just under a year now, this will actually be my first full year teaching here. I came in during January of 2022. It has been one of the most rewarding jobs of my life, even in such a short time! SCIENCE REALLY ROCKS!!!

I have one child, who is the brightest ball of joy and love in my life. She is awesome, her name is Emily. My fiance, Michelle and I, will be getting married at the end of this year. I moved down here from Austin in 2015. San Antonio is an awesome and enjoyable city to live in!

I post classroom expectations throughout the year on Google classroom. Most classwork will also be posted in your student's Google classroom as well, and almost always for my students who miss a day due to being sick or some other reasons for missing.
