NEISD students contribute to statewide Youth Art Month display

Two works of art by North East ISD students are now on display in Austin!

Mariela Pena, a senior at the International School of the Americas (ISA), and Kimoto Hiroki, a student at Lopez Middle School, both have their beautiful pieces on display at the Bullock Texas State History Museum throughout the month of March.

The Museum's Third Floor Rotunda is home to an exhibition of over 100 original pieces of student artwork created by K-12 students from across the state. Two of those comes from NEISD students.

This display is part of the 2024 Texas Art Education Association's Youth Art Month Exhibition. You’re invited to visit the museum to view the Youth Art Month exhibit daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. An awards ceremony will be held on March 10. The last day to view the exhibit is March 30.

Congratulations to Mariela and Kimoto!
