And the award goes to…Johnson High School!
Johnson students picked up five awards at the 2023 BexarFest Film Festival. Film and photography students have been hard at work creating still photography and a video for San Antonio Threads, a non-profit who provides clothes and toiletries to at-risk teens.
“They dedicated their time, effort, passion, blood, sweat, and tears to write, storyboard, film, edit, compose music, and develop graphic designs and still photography for this film festival,” said Esther Guerra, film teacher. “Please congratulate them on a job well done!”
Johnson’s Film and Photography crew won Most Creative, Best Storytelling, Best Photography Collection, Best Behind-the-Scenes and Best Portfolio. Congratulations to all of the students involved and their sponsors Esther Guerra and Bianca Pitman.
