Mr. Adrian Carrillo

I was born and raised in the desert life El Paso, Texas where amazing food and are abundant! Thanks to my time at the University of The Incarnate Word, I spent 8 years in San Antonio and am excited to be back here to see everything that's new and old about this place. Though this is my first year teaching in Texas, I'm excited to learn and grow with you all. 

I attained all my teaching experience in Phoenix and when I wasn't too busy melting, I was learning how to inspire students to achieve their bests, learn to love the learning process, and become organized and ready for anything the world has in front of them, all while making sure personalities and dreams flourish and grow. While they made tremendous growth academically, they also grew a lot as people, and my experiences with them helped me evolve as a teacher and professional as well. I can't wait to see what Tex-Hill has in store!

I teach students very much like a coach would their athletes. I look for many ways to motivate, connect with, and push students to reach small attainable goals and, without fail, we look back at the end of the year, proud of how far we were able to go together. Communication and trust is my top priority so that we may all share a common goal. 

We do enjoy laughs and sharing our many interests and personalities in the classroom but our work will be at the forefront as well. My goal is to have well rounded students that are great learners, great people, so that they may achieve great things!
