Amy Henning

This is my 18th year teaching science and my 16th year teaching in NEISD.  I am a graduate of MacArthur High School and Baylor University.  I married my high school sweetheart in 2002.  He is a math teacher at Madison High School.  We have 2 girls, Abigail is in 7th grade and Emily is in 4th grade.

We love to road trip with our family.  Life is an adventure and we love taking the girls outdoors and making memories.   We have been able to see many amazing places and have many more on our bucket lists.

Teaching History

I graduated from Baylor University in 2001 and moved to Bryan/ College Station while my husband finished his degree at Texas A&M. I worked for Bryan ISD for 2 years and then we moved to San Antonio.   I taught 8th grade at Tejeda for 11 years and then decided to jump at the opportunity to open Tex Hill Middle School. This is my 18th year teaching middle school!   I love this age group and love teaching at Tex Hill.  I am looking forward to meeting my new group of students for this year!
