Ms. Rachel Woodworth
Hello! My name is Ms. Woodworth, and this is my 5th year at Tex Hill Middle School. I began my career at Hill as a student teacher when the school opened in the fall of 2014, and started my first official year of teaching the following school year! That being said, this is my 4th year teaching 6th grade English at Hill. I personally believe that I have the best job in the entire world, and I am so grateful that I got to start my career with your incredible students.
I am also a product of Northeast ISD schools! I attended Stone Oak Elementary, Bush Middle, and Reagan High School, and graduated from Reagan in 2009. Then, I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies for grades 4-8 with a focus in English/Reading/Social Studies. I graduated from UTSA in December 2014.
I am also the Academic UIL campus coordinator for Tex Hill! If your student is interested in participating in Academic UIL, please have them talk to me before or after class! I would love for them to be a part of our Academic UIL team. Everyday is an adventure in 6th grade, and I feel privileged to experience that adventure with your students. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me! E-mail is definitely the most efficient way to reach me, I always try to respond to emails within 24 hours.
