NEISD Art Scholarship Winners Paint a Path to Success

Congratulations to our 2024 K. Allison Memorial Art Scholarship winners!

This foundation was established more than 20 years ago with the hopes of helping North East ISD 8th and 12th grade students realize their dreams of studying art.

Each year, students in these two age groups are invited to submit a portfolio of their work (5-8 pieces), along with a statement about what art means to them and how they plan to continue in their artistic journey in the years ahead.

Each portfolio is judged by three non-NEISD-affiliated jurors who are well versed in the field of visual arts. The 12th grade division had a total of 41 entries, and the 8th grade division had 22 entries.

We are incredibly proud to share that this year's winners took home a combined $4,950 in scholarship prizes!
