The NEISD Bilingual and ESL programs are designed to support students in acquiring high levels of academic achievement by effectively addressing the linguistic, academic, cultural and social needs of English learners.
Budgets & Financial Analysis provides essential financial information and data on District revenues, expenditures, tax rates, etc so that the public has the information it needs to actively participate in the process.

Career and Technical Education offers programs and courses in middle and high school in a wide variety of career and technology-based fields that lead to internships, practicums, certifications and college credit opportunities.
College & Career Readiness works with campuses and other college-related departments to create and support a college ready environment.
The Communications department seeks to inform the community about the mission and goals of North East ISD, as well as the successes and challenges it faces.
Construction Management & Engineering
The Construction Management and Engineering Department is directly responsible for the daily implementation of all construction programs.
In conjunction with teachers serving as curriculum writers, the Curriculum Department provides a curriculum for use with students across the district. This curriculum is aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). It also emphasizes the Core Knowledge that all students should learn. This curriculum is continually reviewed and revised as the needs of students evolve.

District Assessments provides assessments to serve students and teachers regarding a students' learning strategies. Benchmarks are designed to prepare students for STAAR/End of Course tests.
The District Treasury department oversees the use and investment of District's funds to ensure compliance with federal and local laws. Annual Investment report. Reports to Board of Trustees. Fund compliance.

Early Childhood Education oversees NEISD programs including Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Preschool for Children with Disabilities.
Electronic Services provides repair for audio-visual and copier equipment for district campuses and departments. They also provide inventory management and tracking services.
The Employee Benefits Department handles health insurance benefits, Life insurance benefits, and Retirement planning.
The Employee Wellness department motivates NEISD employees with healthy recommendations to get them moving towards a healthier lifestyle.
The External Relations & Grants department offers help to staff that is in search of grants that will fund educational projects and programs. They help develop proposals and win grants that benefit NEISD

Facility Maintenance & Operations
Facility Maintenance handles HVAC, custodial services, electrical, grounds keeping, building repair, electronic systems, plumbing and preventative maintenance for our district.
Our Family Engagement department ties together NEISD with families and their community. Specialists offer support at the schools for families that need counseling and mentoring, as well as connecting them with the organization or agency that could benefit their needs.
Family Support Services offers support to our homeless families, school-age parents, and students that drop out of school.
Our Federal Programs Department works to support our schools that are a part of the U.S. Department of Education Title Program. They offer opportunities that encourage parental engagement and programs that help children meet rigorous state academic standards.
Our Finance & Accounting department works to handle all the accounting, accounts payable and payroll needs of our district. They create financial reports, manuals and forms for our accounting department and they handle the listing of NEISD's unclaimed property.
Our Fine Arts department inspires our students, parents, staff, and community through visual arts, theatre, music, dance, cheer, debate, speech, journalism and outdoor education.

The Gifted and Talented department challenges our students to explore and develop their intellectual and creative gifts and talents.
Grants Administration and Financial Control
The Grant Administration and Financial Control department oversee the compliance of state and federal laws and regulations as stipulated on grand awards and special program allotments.
Guidance Services supports our NEISD students through counseling services, setting up graduation plans as well as ensuring college and career readiness. They track class rank, maintain student transcripts and work together with the foster care system.

Health Services works to improve the overall health of its students and staff. They track air quality, asthma management, offer maturation resources, track immunization requirements, oversee our nursing staff and their continued training, offer various health screenings throughout the district and provide misc. medical supplies to our schools.
The NEISD Help Desk offers technical assistance to students, staff, and parents. They offer help with password reset, GradeSpeed access from home and assist callers with putting in Help Desk tickets when applicable.
Human Resources helps prospective applicants and current employees. They oversee compliance with labor law and set employment standards for all NEISD employees. They process substitute applications, leave of absence, records request, work schedules, evaluations, compensation, and grievances.

Instructional Technology offers technology support to staff and students. They offer a multitude of training courses to keep our staff up to date on technology and to inspire new ways to use technology in the classroom. Each school has an ITS assigned to them to support their campus technology needs.
The Internal Audit department handles complaints regarding illegal or fraudulent acts, waste of funds and misuse or theft of District property or funds.

The JROTC department is a leadership and citizenship program that helps prepare our students for post-secondary education or in the workplace. The students participate in competitive Color Guard, Drill Teams, Land Navigation & Orienteering Teams as well as a Cyber Patriot team.

The Learning Support Services department prepares middle and high school students for careers in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Technology, Aerospace, Agriscience, Animation, Architectural Design, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Construction, Culinary Arts, Electrical Systems Technology, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Aviation Maintenance, Heavy Equipment, Health Professions, Health Science, Human Services, Law & Public Safety, Marketing, and Video Production.
North East ISD libraries offer spaces and resources through LibGuides for students, staff, and the community to explore, connect, create, collaborate, and communicate.

The Mail Services department takes care of bulk, certified, first class and parcel mail for our District.
Management Information Services
Our Management Information Services department handles attendance, data processing, grade reporting, student scheduling and bus requests.
Specializing in video production the Media Production department is dedicated to sharing the culture, achievement, and impact of the North East Independent School District.

Our Network Technology department upgrades and maintains the district-wide network infrastructure. They also implement and facilitate new technologies for our students and staff. They can also assist with Help Desk tickets and VPN information.

Peer Assistance Leadership and Service (PALS) is a program for middle school and high school students providing effective training in "resiliency" strategies. The PALS peer helping program combats problems such as violence in schools, drug abuse, teen pregnancy, bullying and school dropouts by providing a critical line of defense through PALS mentoring younger peers in their district cluster schools.
The Partners in Education department works together with companies, organizations, retirement communities and colleges that donate time, expertise and services to benefit our students and staff. The North East Educational Foundation is also a part of this department. They underwrite projects and programs that enhance basic required curriculum.
Our Payroll Department handles NEISD payroll, direct deposit, leave balances, helps with getting TRS retirement paperwork turned in, lost ID badges, designation of beneficiary and tax forms.
The Department of Performance and Planning supports assessments, accountability, performance, planning, research, and evaluation. We strive to provide our community, campus and District staff with accurate and valuable leadership in these areas in order to ensure student success.
North East Independent School District's Physical Education & Health Department empowers all students with the knowledge and
skills necessary to build confidence in making positive choices that develop and sustain lifelong behaviors that promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
The North East ISD Police Department is a 24 hour service provider. Our focus is the safety of all students, staff, faculty and visitors within the NEISD community. In order to provide this service our department works closely with all local, state, federal, and civilian law enforcement agencies.
The Print Services department offers print and copy services to our district. They are able to buy supplies at a lower cost in order to provide services at a lower cost to our district. They print NEISD's annual reports, business cards, calendars, directories, electronic fillable files, envelopes, folders, forms, labels, laminating, menus, note cards, notepads, paper, PDF conversion, program printing, stationery, tabs, and agendas.
Procurement & e-Commerce department is where we receive competitive bids for jobs, controls our resource management system, accepts submissions for advertisement, sets up our online auction, provides document management, election information, facility rentals, approves fundraising vendors, purchasing compliance, records management, docuware, textbooks, travel, employee training and our warehouse services.
The Professional Learning Department is committed to supporting teachers in ways that lead to the highest levels of educator knowledge and skills resulting in increased student achievement.
The Pupil Personnel department handles school transfers, specialty enrollments, student/parent handbooks, District student code of conduct and school attendance.

NEISD's Safety department are your point(s) of contact for any safety issues regarding your campus or facility. They oversee emergency procedures drills, upkeep of fire extinguishers and coordinates school projects with the appropriate departments to make sure there aren't conflicts with maintenance, safety or school Administration.
Our School Administration department is comprised of 3 Executive Directors that provide coaching, training, and assistance for our campus a\administrators.
NEISD's School Nutrition Services provides nutritious meals for our students. View menus, apply for free and reduced-price meals and learn more about meal payments and submitting special diet requests.
This department provides information for students with Dyslexia and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
The NEISD Special Education department offers many programs to accommodate our student's needs. They offer adapted Physical Education, Alternative Learning Environment, Co-Teaching, Deaf Education, Homebound and Hospital programs, In-class support, Infant programs, Preschool programs for children with disabilities, redirection, resource classes, and services for the visually impaired. They offer vocational training, Special Education records request, and Special Education support and training
Student Leadership & Support Services
Student Leadership and Wellbeing oversees AVID, bully awareness, leadership training, lighthouse schools, no place for hate, PALS, peer mediation, Red Ribbon week, safe and drug-free training, STAN counselors, The Leader in Me, Unity Conference and behavior specialists.
Our Summer School department offers summer classes for Elementary, Middle and High School students that would like to get ahead, catch up or explore exciting electives.

The Technology Services department oversees Instructional Technology Services, Library Services, Network Technology Services and Technology Support Services.
The Technology Support department handles Technology Support technicians, manages the system center configuration manager, district web administration, virtual desktop infrastructure, help desk and client-side bond purchases.
Testing Services manages and oversees the statewide assessment program, the district achievement and abilities tests, and credit-by-exam tests for North East ISD. We also are recognized as an out of school and out of district state testing site.
The NEISD Transportation department transports over 25,000 students, operates 450 buses and travels 17,000 miles each school day. They also offer bilingual, Pre-K and special needs routes as well.

The NEISD Volunteer Program department is the bridge between our community and our students. They work to organize assistance for at-risk students through their mentoring program. They do background checks on all volunteers and mentors to make sure our students and staff are safe.

The Web Services department manages the NEISD websites, campus websites and teacher websites.
The NEISD Workers' Compensation program assists injured employees by coordinating quality medical care, promoting early and safe return to work and providing medical and income benefits.
The NEISD World Language program includes American Sign Language, French, German, Japanese, Latin, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese (Lee & Reagan HS) and Spanish.
